Atleast, that's exactly what a dutch newarticle writes about it, conserning the upcoming race at Melbourne. To me, it's just the opposite; the lack of possible overtaking is killing the sport.
So it sounds weird hearing that coming out of your mouth. Look at Bahrein; it was a very, very dull race and if that's becoming the standard; my entheusiasm for the F1 will vaporize quickly. Overtaking is everything!Circuits should be maximising the oppurtunities to do so and that goes for the racing cars too. We want exitement, not a parade from start to finish.
I can only hope they translated you wrongly :-)

Hello Louis, just want to know how you get the idea that a race is more challeging when overtaking is harder to achieve ? I shudder when I think of being ignorant of all that amazing technology and science involved. The high level of tactical strategy, the politics and egos. All the Circuits, Cars, Teams, and Drivers. The sheer beauty of F1. Thank God, because as much as people talk about Senna and Schumacher, I didn't get it and didn't care until you bust it open like Woods did Golf. In years to come, would you ever consider breaking down another barrier and challenging in Nascar or Le Mans ?

Thanx Lewis, I’m almost ashamed to say it but the truth is without you I doubt I would have ever loved F1 as much as I do now.
