Hamilton Escapes Penalty
October 19th, 2007Luckily Lewis escaped a penalty for using two sets of wet tires in the first practice session (you’re only allowed one set), but the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team was fined €15,000, that’s approx. £10,000.
That’s good news for Hamilton as he’s fighting for the Formula 1 Drivers World Championship – and it was a team error, as admitted by Ron Dennis. That seems fair enough.
